Telford & Wrekin Council is encouraging residents to take up nature photography and enter a competition.

The competition encourages residents of all ages to visit the borough's local nature reserves. The 'My Walk Today' campaign aims to highlight the wild and green spaces on our doorstep.

Photos can be submitted to greenspaces@telford.gov.uk in either the adult or under-16s category and should be accompanied by a short caption. The entry deadline is 5pm on Friday 21st January.

Entries must include the photographer's name, a contact email address and phone number (of a parent or guardian for under 16s), which category they are entering, the name of the nature reserve where the photo was taken, and a short caption beginning 'What I like about this green space is...'.

There is no limit to the number of photos entrants can submit.
