Open Day 6th July 10am - 2pm

A fun-filled day of activities and entertainment for all the family!

Things you will be able to do include pond dipping, bug exploration, and guided walks on the Reserve. Get involved in some woodland crafts, bring your pooch along and enter him (or her) into a doggy photo competition, get hands-on with owls and find out about our fascinating toads, frogs and newts.

You will be inspired and amazed at what's on your doorstep! We have exhibitions from local groups including the Dogs Trust, Amphibian & Reptile Conservation, and Shropshire Falconry. See PDF below for more detail.

There is no entrance fee but there will be a small charge for the light refreshments available at Admaston House Community Centre.

Our thanks go to Telford & Wrekin Council, without whom this event would not have been possible.

Wellington UDC Sewage Works were just beyond the end of the blocks going north.

I think a water pipe or sewage pipe was supported on those blocks many years ago, they look pre war.
